he period between August to November every year is opportune for sightings of whales in the small town of Hermanus. This town is also home to the annual Whale Festival that takes place in September. Catch marvelous and real-life views of whales and their interactions with each other. Whether it’s from inside a boat or the banks of the ocean, you are sure to enjoy watching these magnificent marine mammals in their habitat. Hermanus is also home to the Fernkloof Nature Reserve; which has over 1500 different species of flora.
